I'm now a firm believer that resting and refreshing is a must.After this mini vacation at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH, I can say that I'm rested and elated to run back to my workshop, boutique and to serve my beloved customers. Shopping and talking with thousands of other pickers, crafters and fashionistas ignited my spirit. Likewise, I got to help my sister with her booth at the event, which was a lot of girly fun.
Here are two pics from the event: 1). I fell in love with these hand embroidered Chuck Taylor tennis shoes and 2). at the event I got a chance to wear my Certified Junkaholic Shirt and vintage TuTu over jeans with cowboy boots. (Yes - this look is very in style in the Midwest. I had tons of people ask to buy the tutu right off me :-)
Also, I can't wait to show you all of the items I'm making and that I purchased for Relish!
We all need some type of break to ignite the creativity that is within us. So, I hope you receive an opportunity to stop, step back and become inspired in the near future.
